Hearing voices talk to you? That are not of this world? I learned a hard lesson while in a cult, I was prescribed drugs by cult doctors living their lives to please Warren Jeffs, my ex husband. I had no internet to look up my diagnosis or symptoms, I was in survival mode, I didn’t feel safe. I learned to listen to the doctors and ask questions. Why did you prescribe these pills? One very important lesson I think others should be aware of is: one of the leading factors to why doctors prescribe mental psych pills is based on if you hear voices that are not of this world. The reason this is so important is because if you hear your book characters speak, if your a writer, or even hear voices talking about your past lives, etc. it is good to be aware that it is very easy (even on the outside of a cult,) if someone grows apart from you or is mad at you for some reason and you end up just talking to a doctor, if hearing voices (not of this world )is brought up, more often then not you will be prescribed something for that.

The results of cult doctors in my life and especially Warren Jeffs have hurt me in a big way, I still have things I deal with because of it. I’m ok, I’ve learned and grown, but knowing that you need to be careful about talking about hearing voices, if you do. Might just help someone else. Nobody ever explained anything to me about visiting a doctor, I don’t ever remember talking about hearing voices myself, but I did learn from them that is one of their leading ways to diagnose.

In coaching sessions for books and more I find it’s loosely talked about often, and sometimes encouraged to be successful, but I know there easily can be a swift diagnosis as well, just by knowing more about medical. I’m not a doctor, I learned a really hard way, through talking to professionals out of force. If I can help someone else I’d like to try.
